The 2022 Project Windows visual display contest gives “Best Design” award to Fashion Studies’ “Cezanne Undone: Another PerRetrospective” window exhibit.

ŷɫƬ Fashion Studies window exhibit “Cezanne Undone: Another PerRetrospective” won "Best Design" in the Art Institute of Chicago’s Project Windows contest. The Fashion Studies Department created it in response to the Art Institute of Chicago’s exhibition “Cezanne” as a tribute to the French painter Paul Cezanne. The exhibit ran in June at 618 S. Michigan Ave. and featured work from Columbia-trained designers Anfernee Pettis ’20, Shaquita Reed ’18, and Robert Noia ’18.  

The Project Windows visual display contest launched in 2012 is a way for retailers to leverage the Art Institute of Chicago's world-class exhibitions that attract tourists from all over the globe. Over the years, it has evolved into a city-wide celebration of art and creativity, allowing retailers to craft beautiful, inspired, traffic-stopping displays and tap into our city's cultural energy.
